eHarmony or Match.com UK
Now what I like about Match.com is that you have the opportunity to browse through profiles and contact other members on your own, which eHarmony doesn't let you do. eHarmony matches you to people it considers you are compatible with, which means you can be waiting a long time to be matched with someone that you find attractive. Some people who've written in, say that they didn't find any of their matches remotely attractive, which must have been incredibly disheartening for them.
Also, eHarmony is slightly more expensive than Match: Match.com is £19.99 per month for a 3 month membership eHarmony is £22.95 per month for a 3 month membership Personally, I'm not convinced the difference in cost is worth it, especially as you cannot contact members by yourself.
I think that unless you're very shy and would rather be "introduced" to someone, then match.com would be your best choice. Personally, I know of several people who've had long term relationships with someone they met on match.com. A couple of them have even gone on to get married.
You can register for free at match.com to have a look round before committing yourself or your money! I'll be surprised if you're not on a date by the weekend! If you really want to have a look at eHarmony, then it's also free to register.
